𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦 ⊱Demetria Ella Tremaine⊰ Demetria was named after Anastasia’s sister, Drizella, even though Drizella was the one with the more malicious intentions towards others. Despite Anastasia’s attempts to steer her sister onto a better path, Drizella’s sharp tongue and ruthless behavior often landed her in trouble. Eventually, her reckless words caught up with her, leading to a confrontation with some dangerous villains who preferred violence over conversation. This led to Drizella being hospitalized or confined to the Isle, paying the consequences for her actions.

Meaning:follower of Demeter. Demetria as a girl’s name is of Greek origin meaning “follower of Demeter.” In Greek mythology, Demeter was the goddess of corn and harvest, and mother of Persephone. Her Roman name is Demetrius, from the root word for “cereal.” (Y’all that’s HILARIOUS I GOT TO MAKE HER A FARMER)

𝘣𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘥𝘢𝘺 ⊱June 15th ⊰ While staying with their evil step-grandmother and Demetria’s cousin Dizzy (who is Drizella’s daughter), Anastasia and Dizzy team up to make Demetria’s birthday as joyful as possible. Dizzy treats her cousin to a free makeover, using her skills to transform Demetria’s appearance with flair. Meanwhile, Anastasia sets out to find the perfect gifts and treats, scouring the Isle for ingredients to bake her daughter the most delightful cakes imaginable. Despite their challenging circumstances, their love for Demetria shines through in their efforts to make her special day truly memorable. Though it does make them said Drizella can’t join them.

𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 | 𝘴𝘦𝘹 ⊱Female | Female⊰ [Demetria, a cisgender female, navigates her world with a certain innocence and naivety, often unaware of the complexities of gender identity. Her upbringing and environment have shielded her from discussions about gender fluidity or transitions, leaving her somewhat ignorant on the subject. With a tendency to be ditzy and preoccupied with her own world, Demetria hasn’t given much thought to the concept of people changing their gender. It’s not that she’s intentionally dismissive or insensitive; rather, she simply lacks exposure and understanding. She simply assumes she’s straight because she hasn’t questioned it or explored her feelings deeply. However, her great-grandmother’s determination to maintain the family’s facade of perfection despite their exile to the Isle leads to calculated manipulations. Recognizing that Demetria’s perception of her own sexuality could tarnish the family’s image, her great-grandmother subtly shields her from any influences or discussions that might challenge her assumed straightness. This manipulation serves not only to protect the family’s reputation but also to control Demetria’s understanding of herself and her place in the world. When and if brought up she is told it’s wrong, so that’s what she’s known to believe.

Instead, she focuses on navigating the challenges of life on the Isle and forging her own path, drawing on her individual experiences and relationships rather than cultural identity.
